Spooky Peanut Butter Pumpkin Dog Treats

Fall baking is always a must around here… so why not include the dogs?

These Spooky Peanut Butter Pumpkin Treats are ridiculously easy to make, require only three ingredients, and feel perfectly festive for fall and Halloween.

The best part? You probably already have most of what you need in your pantry.

Ingredients

• 1 cup pumpkin purée
• 1 cup peanut butter
• 3/4 cup whole wheat flour

Quick note: Make sure you’re using plain pumpkin purée, not pumpkin pie filling. And always double-check that your peanut butter is xylitol-free, since xylitol is toxic to dogs.

How to Make Them

Preheat your oven to 350°F.

Add the pumpkin purée, peanut butter, and whole wheat flour to a bowl and mix until a dough forms.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface, then use your favorite cookie cutters to cut out your treats. We went with spooky shapes because, obviously, it’s fall.

Place the treats on a baking sheet and bake for 35 minutes.

Once they’re finished, let them cool completely before sharing them with your dog.
