Description

Cold weather calls for cozy scarves and thankfully Pacific Hound has you covered! The bandeau scarf is unique to Pacific Hound and is our flagship product introduced in 2015. All scarves have a built-in twist and loop around your dog's neck one time. Scarves are complimented with our signature vegan leather mountain tag. When you're ready to adventure, simply slip your Pacific Hound scarf over your dog's head and you're ready to go!

Flannel Content: 65% polyester, 35% cotton
Waffle Content: 95% polyester, 5% spandex 

How To Size

1. Measure the thickest part of your dog's neck or head using a soft tape measure.

2. Account for fluff - If your pet is between sizes, go up! Long haired dogs (shepherds, goldens) almost always need to size up.

3. Pay attention to the material listed above. Waffle scarves stretch a bit; flannel does not. Choose accordingly.

4. View sizing guide to determine final size. Please remember, not every breed will fit perfectly into each category. Measuring your dog is the best way to ensure a good fit.

Scarves come in different weights, ranging from light to heavy, with heavier scarves offering a snugger fit.

 

Waffles- Medium Weight: This fabric has a lot of stretch, so these scarves will drape more loosely compared to a stiffer material like flannel.

 

Flannels - Heavy Weight: Flannel is a non-stretch material, giving it a more structured feel. It's also known for being incredibly soft.

I order this for my corgi,Poppy. A coat makes her to warm. Her scarves are perfect for her. When she received her scarf I realized she already had this one, which is wonderful. I was going to return the scarf but decided to give it to a friend instead. Her dog is a yellow lab and she looks so beautiful in it. I need to order one of the new scarves just can’t decide which one. I think that they all so beautiful. She has three scarves now, two for winter and one for spring / fall. She gets so many compliments when we’re out.
I love this company, their products are made really great and they are wonderful to work with if you have any questions.

It Started As A Mission To Keep Spot & Emma Warm

Alysson Kuhns never set out to be a business owner, but Pacific Hound became the perfect accident. With a master’s degree in Sport Psychology, she once had her sights set on coaching collegiate track and field—until life (and two dogs, Spot and Emma) had other plans. 

 

What started as a simple mission to keep her pups warm during freezing Kansas mornings turned into a booming business, first on Etsy and later as the full-fledged brand, Pacific Hound. Fueled by a love for the outdoors, adventure, and of course, dogs, Alysson rebranded in 2018 and never looked back. Today, Pacific Hound is more than just a business—it’s a testament to persistence, creativity, and community, connecting thousands of like-minded adventurers across the world.
