All scarves are classified by weight ranging from light weight to heavy weight. You should expect heavier scarves to fit snugger.
The Lavender Waffle Knit Scarf is medium weight and stretchy. Knits do tend to be more delicate than flannels so please use your best judgement when using.
How to Size for Dogs:
- Measure the thickest part of your dog's neck or head.
- Account for fluff - if your pet is between sizes, go up! Long haired dogs (shepherds, goldens) almost always need to size up.

I am obsessed with the faded mauve color! Lightweight, stretchy material. I reached out to Pacific Hound with a sizing question and Alysson was amazing in her quick response and recommendations. I have pictured my 60 lb German Shepherd, who has an 18" neck and medium length hair/fluff for a shepherd. She is typically an XL in other PH scarves, but we went with a Large per Alysson's recommendation and it is PERFECT.
